About the book
The study of earth’ s surface as the space within
which the human population lives is an important
branch of knowledge. It deals with the living and
abiotic things and their interrelationship found on the
earth surface. The present book titled: “ Introduction
to Geographical Profile of SAARC Countries with
special reference to Bangladesh” is a higher level text
book designed and written to cater the needs of
under-graduate and post-graduate students of
geography, researchers, regional planners and those
concerned with the development of SAARC Countries.
Based on ten chapters and documented over 33
maps, several diagrams, the book systematically
explains the physical personality and cultural
diversity of SAARC Countries.
About the author
Jammu and Kashmir based Research Scholar Ajay Kumar is involved in writing from the last few years. He came up with this maiden work after completing masters in Geography from University of Jammu & qualifying UGC NET as well, his quest for knowledge didn’t stopped and he added few more feathers in his cap by obtaining Masters Degree in English Literature as well. Currently he is persuing Phd and writing in the contemporary themes in English Literature and Geography like Literary Geography, Ecocriticism & nature writings.
