All her school life, Tanya had been a socially awkward individual with very few friends. However, from the day she starts college, she wants to change her nature of being a loner. After joining college, she meets a young man, Chetan, and falls in love with him but later discovers a surprising fact about him that opens the door to a whole new world for her.
Despite all the academic struggles, she eventually makes it into a Master's program in a reputed university. On her first day there, a senior professor announces that she did not get admission by merit but because one of the associate professors was impressed by her profile, and had thus fought for her admission. With time, the associate professor and Tanya get attracted to each other while she is still dating Chetan. With an active sex life, she enjoys the attention of two successful men. The story revolves around her confusion between the two love interests in her life.

The author, Shivangi Puri Dewan, was born and brought up in India. She is married, and lives in Delhi. She is an only child of her parents. Reading and writing are her hobbies. Shivangi discovered her talent in writing when she was very young. She wrote her first poem when she was just seven years old, and hasn’t looked back since. She finds that she is able to best express herself through the art of writing. Shivangi loves animals. She has been active in animal welfare activities all her life. Shivangi dreams of becoming a successful author.
