मनुष्यों में ही नहीं बल्कि संसार के हर प्राणी में भावनाएँ होती हैं । वैज्ञानिकों का तो ये भी मानना है कि पैड-पौधों में भी भावनाएँ होती हैं,उन्हें भी सुख-दुख का अनुभव होता है ,वो भी दर्द और तकलीफ को महसूस करते हैं । लेकिन भावनाओं को व्यक्त करने की क्षमता इश्वर ने केवल मनुष्यों को दी है । हां जीव-जंतू भी अपनी भावनाएँ प्रकट कर सकते हैं लेकिन वे बेचारे इस मानव जाती के सामने बड़े ही लाचार दिखाई देते हैं । इश्वर ने मनुष्य को बुद्धि दी ,विचार शक्ति दी ताकि वह संसार के हर प्राणी की भावनाओं को समझे , उनका ख्याल रख सके लेकिन उसकी महत्वाकांशा ने उसे इतना अंधा बना दिया कि उसे अपने से अलग अब कुछ दिखाई ही नहीं देता । अपनी इन्हीं महत्वाकांशाओ के चलते उसका ह्रदय पत्थर का हो चला है । उसने प्रकृति पर ही नहीं अपितु मानव जाती पर भी जो अत्याचार किये हैं उनसे जग अंजान नहीं है । आज तो आलम ये है कि बाप बेटे का नहीं और बेटा बाप का नहीं । माँ अपनी संतान तक को त्याग कर अपने प्रेमी संग भाग जाती है । जायदाद के लिये लोग अपने माँ,बाप भाई,बहन सबका खून बहा रहे हैं । रिश्तों का खून, विश्वास का खून बस यही अब जग की नई रीत बन गई है । प्रकृति को तो यह मानव जाती कुछ समझ ही नहीं रही है । रोज़ हजारों पेड़ काटे जा रहे हैं और उनकी जगह रोड़ी ,सीमेंट के भूतिया जंगल खड़े किये जा रहे हैं । लोग जानवरों को मार-मार कर खा रहे हैं । अरे जब खेती-बाड़ी ही नहीं रहेगी तो जानवरों को ही खाओगे । लेकिन ये भी तो पेड़ों पर ही निर्भर हैं । ये भी कब तक बचे रहेंगे । जब ये भी नहीं रहेंगे तब? तब क्या एक-दूसरे को मारकर खाओगे ! अगर हालात ऐसे ही रहे तो निश्चय ही वह दिन भी अवश्य आयेगा जब मानव एक दूसरे को मारकर खाने पर विवश हो जायेगा । तो, हे इश्वर द्वारा रचित सबसे कुशाग्र बुद्धि वाले ‘मानव’ अब भी समय रहते सुधर जा वर्ना वो दिन दूर नहीं जब सारी पृथ्वी नर कंकालों से पट जाएगी और उन्हें देखने के लिये सिर्फ काँच और पत्थर की इमारतें ही शेष बचेंगी ।
