About the Author
Prisha Garg, a young writer, was encouraged, like every other ‘ready to fly" 14-year-old, to write on gender inequity in order to educate people who believe it isn’t a big deal. She is a sister and a daughter who wants every girl to be treated equally as boys. She does not want women to have a higher position than men, but she wants both of them on equal footing. She met a lot of people her age, both younger and older, to talk about the difficulties they faced as a result of inequality in their life. She merged their unwritten stories into a single narrative. She wants this book to be a universal voice. She wishes for the world to be the way she desires.

Sit Like a Girl" is a book about gender equality between both genders. It discusses how girls are just as capable as boys and that they should enjoy their independence.
