About the Author: Bani Pershad is a renowned painter and poet. She beautifully expresses her emotions and life experiences using colours on canvas and words on paper. Originally from Delhi, Bani did her schooling at Welham Girls' High School, Dehradun and studied commercial art from Maharani Bagh Polytechnic, Delhi. In addition to her visual and written creativity, Bani is also a trained Kathak dancer.
