About the Book
This book is a compilation of the author's life experiences over the last decade. It is about real-life anecdotes on her firm belief in faith, kindness, empathy and her love for life and the uniform. It so happens sometimes that in this fast-paced world, we forget to pause and wonder about the day-to-day blessings of life. This book is the author's attempt to remind us of those little joys and lessons of life, through her own experiences; both in person and in her profession.
About the Author
Major Geeta Adhikari (Retd.) served as an officer in the elite Indian Army and retired in 2021 after eleven years in the uniform. A woman of substance and simplicity; she has always had a keen interest to serve her nation with dedication and fortitude. She has also been very invested in her goal of life - TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, in all possible ways. She believes - "Your story is the key that can unlock someone else's prison." Therefore, this book is her endeavour to share her heartwarming accounts of hope, inspiration, upliftment and to spread a little happiness!
