About the Author

Dr Rakesh Varma is an Ex- IAS officer. He has taken Voluntary Retirement. He has served in various capacities in the State government UP and Central Government. He is an alumnus of Lucknow University having done B.Sc., M.A. (Anthropology), MBA and Doctorate in Sociology. He has also done masters in Public Policy from LKY School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He is government of India recognised Leadership Expert and Trainer, recipient of National Award for excellence in Training and guest faculty at various training institutes. He is an author of repute with 2 Novels in the market : “Just Don’t do It “& “Just a Housewife”. An anthropologist by nature, he believes that any book should allow human beings to advance. He has been contributing to various newspapers. Apart from his passion for writing novels, he also writes shayari under the pen name “Rahi”.
