About the author


 A young engineer with a vision for a happier, cleaner, greener tomorrow: Kartikey Gupta is a mechanical engineer by qualification and an environmentalist, spiritualist, and philanthropist at heart. He is associated with Vatsalya School (www.vatsalya.org) as Director-STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and has built a Science Centre for underprivileged children, and built Solar infrastructure along with water-recharging systems to make a carbon-neutral model village in Achrol near Jaipur. He is founder of Energify® (www.energify.in), a firm which has built many solar and rainwater harvesting projects in and around Jaipur. He has also designed and built infinite distance solar electric bicycles (https://youtu.be/0jZWXxFRSX8), and has presented several papers in climate science across the globe, while enjoying mentorship of accomplished global scientists. A self-trained drummer, he lives his passion of teaching science, astronomy, and music to young children. He is presently settled in Jaipur with his wife Saloni and infant son Ivaan.
