About the author
Jay Mishra, born in 1984, is a management graduate and a passionate banker-turned-author. The success of his first book "A Glory In Distress”, nudged him to write more and encouraged him to glorify thoughts that break the stereotypes, which in turn gave birth to a beautiful composition, An Affair in Mumbai – the story of all young people who despise their life at an early stage and feel ashamed of it.
His forthcoming novel “Streetlight” is based on an unconditional love for an orphan child and his destitute mother. This piece of work, which belongs to the genre of fiction, will be released in a couple of years.
Apart from writing, he is also passionate about stocks and derivatives trading. He loves to gossip, watch TV, debate and is also very fond of Jagjit Singh’s ghazals.
He lives in Mumbai with his wife and his two sons, Arnab and Arush.
