About the Author
"Hindi poetry writing has been a hobby since my college days. But I couldn't pay much attention to it. Of course, whenever I could get time for writing something, I used to write poetry. I kept some of those poems still preserved and eventually, reading some poems in Urdu language sparked my curiosity for some words and I started using them in my poetry writing. Poems have been a constant companion to me. While studying or being in service job, I have been continuously writing Hindi poetry. Even during my preparation for the civil services, my poetic journey has never left my side. However, after joining the All India Revenue Service I had to temporarily let go of writing. But I'm grateful that the time has again turned in my favour and thus resumed my passion of writing after office hours in my leisure time. Eventually, all my writing slowly transformed into a Ghazal format and all the ghazals compiled herein are from them. Virendra Kumar R Singh"
