FICTION:  A Dream

Storytelling seems to be a genetically coded attribute of man – even before written words came into existence, even before man learned to write, to read, there had been people, those with fancy and fantasy, who would tell stories to people around them. This storytelling, through a long period of its evolution, has come to us today in various forms of FICTION – Romances, Fantasy, Horror stories, Cyberpunk Science Fiction, etc. And today, in our ‘cyberized’ age, an age of ‘robots’, FICTION seems to have come up as a powerful genre of Literature. All forms of fiction essentially have, as the truth in Fiction, some truth about life with the pictures of life around us, the same human life with varying colors from place to place around the world. People today love to read FICTION  not just for pleasure and pastime, but also to see and know the life around. A work of FICTION becomes a real ‘Dream’ for the creative writer once he is through with the creation of his work. He begins to dream now, to bring his eggs to the right market, not so much for commercial gains from his creative work, as for telling his story to the people around.

उन लोगों से बस इतना ही कहूँगी कि मैं मानती हूँ प्रॉब्लम्स हैं पर आप से बड़ी तो नहीं। ज़िन्दगी बहुत खुबसूरत है पर शर्त यह है कि इसे दूसरों के दम पर नहीं अपने दम पर जियो जिससे सही के हक में और गलत के अगेंस्ट खड़े हो सको। परिस्थितियाँ हमेशा अनुकूल नहीं होती, संघर्ष करना पड़ता है उन्हें अनुकूल बनाने के लिए।

अच्छे दिनों के लिए बुरे दिनों से लड़ना पड़ता है और सच मानिये जब हम जीत जाते हैं तब हमें दुनिया में बुराईयाँ कम अच्छाईयाँ ज्यादा नज़र आती हैं। ये मेरा खुद का अनुभव है इसलिए एक लक्ष्य निर्धारित कीजिए और उसके पीछे तब तक दौड़िये जब तक वो आपकी मुट्ठी में ना हो।

सोनी सिंह चौहान का जन्म 7 जुलाई 1992 को उत्तर प्रदेश के एटा जिले के बाजीदपुर गाँव में हुआ। इनकी स्कूली शिक्षा धुमरी में हुई, स्नातक व परास्नातक जे.एल.एन कॉलेज एटा से किया।

माँ – बाप ईश्वर की वह अमूल्य रचना है जिसके, मात्र सर पर हाँथ फेर देने से सारी तकल़ीफे छू मंतर हो जाती है, उनके चूम लेने से चेहरे पर रौनक और गोद में लिपट जाने से स्वर्ग की अनुभूति होती है, तो क्या कभी आपके साथ ऐसा हुआ है.. याद आ गई ना बचपन की सारी यादें ….! माँ का खिलाना, पढ़ाना, और पढ़ने जाने के लिए सुबह-सुबह उठा देना, वो लोरी, वो किस्से, जिसे सुने बिना कभी नींद ना आती थी, आह! क्या दिन थे वो, जब दुनियाँ की कोई जिम्मेदारी ना थी सर पर, एकदम बिंदास थे, है ना! जो चाहते वो करते, पहनते और थोड़ी सी जिद पर सबकुछ पा जाते! इसलिए हम माँ बाप के बिना इस जिंदगी को सोच भी नही सकते, पर आज कई माँ बाप अपने बच्चो के पास होकर भी दूर है और दूर होकर भी पास.जब हम छोटे थे तो माँ-बाप वो हर चीज करते जिससे हमें हर खुशी मिलती, पर क्या आज सच में सभी बच्चे माँ बाप की उस हर खुशी के लिए प्रयत्न करते है। जिसे उन्हें करना चाहिए थोड़ी कठिन है बताना ना और हम सोचने पर मजबूर हो जाते है कि क्यों आज इतने वृद्धाश्रम क्यो है जहाँ माँ बाप अनचाही जिंदगी जीने पर मजबूर होना पड़ता है या अपने घरो में ही बेगानों सा रहना पड़ता है।याद रखे जिंदगी में माँ बाप से बढ़कर कुछ नहीं है और वो खुषनसीव है जिनके पास माँ बाप है उनमें से मैं भी एक हु पर जिनके पास माँ बाप नहीं उनसे पूछे उनका महत्व। ये जिंदगी उन्ही का दिया हुआ है जो अपने हिस्से का निवाला खिला-खिलाकर बड़ा कर देते है तो क्या यह हमारा फ़र्ज नहीं कि हम उन्हे वो हर खुशी दे जो उन्होंने हमे दी है। आप मेरी कविताओ में खुद को ढुंढे और सोचे कि क्या हमने वो हर खुशी देने की कोशिश की है जिनके वो सच में हकदार है? अगर हाँ तो मुझे आप पर गर्व है और नही तो “जब जागो तभी सबेरा” और आज ही अपने माँ-बाप को एक खुशी जरूर दे जिससे उन्हें आपके साथ जुडे होने का एहसास और खुशी हो।मैं यह आशा और यकीन करता हूँ कि मैं मेरी कविता के माध्यम से आपको आपके माँ-बाप से जोड़ पाऊँगा और यदि हाँ, तो मेरी कविता का लिखना और आपका पढ़ना दोनो सार्थक हो जायेगा।आखिर में इतना ही कहूंगा कि अपने माँ बाप की सेवा करोेे, और देखो दुनियाँ की सारी कामयाबियाँ कैसे हमारे कदम चूमती है।

Parasuram Kund or the well of Parasuram is a holy place located in the beautiful lower reaches of the Lohit River about 56 km by road from Tezu in Lohit District. The place is associated with the legend of Parasuram expiating his sins. The Kalika-Puran (C. 8th Century A.D.) makes mention of this kund as a sacred place. The Yogini-Tantra states that a bath in the kund washes away all the sins. Streams of pilgrims visit the Magh Sankranti Mela held in the month of January every year. On this occasion, the place takes a festive look with thousands of devotees coming from far and near and elaborate arrangements are made by the Government to extend transport, lodging, medical and other facilities to them. The importance of this place for the Hindu pilgrimage was also narrated by the TT Cooper during his Mishmi Expedition in 1900 A.D. where he mentions about people from Assam and Bangladesh visiting this holy place.

This paper attempts to study the economic importance of the religious site in generating employment and income to the people of the state. Further, in this study, the Contingent Valuation Method is used to assess the importance of the site.
