People keep saying how poetry is vanishing but I strongly feel that poetry is coming back in the picture. This is the rebirth of poetry. Readers have struggled to understand the classic poems and it got limited to the literature crowd. But poetry must not be for the elite. It is for living and that includes everyone. The book “Old Soul Story” is a collection of poems that will make you see poetry from everyday life’s perspective. It narrates a story through poetry. You will begin with the characters in the past, swing by their present and eventually end up in their future. It would be wrong to say that it’s a modern take on poetry because poetry never had a fixed form. It was just confined by a few scholars but it is meant to be free.
