“SHE – A Message For Those Who Belittle Girls!” By Sarika Jain

“She is not just a word. It is a voice that says – “Stop Hurting Me Every Day.” She wore her scars like wings. She remembered who she was and the game changed. She is different and is not afraid of flying.”
It is a great irony that in our country where people worship Goddess DurgaGoddess KaliGoddess LakshmiGoddess SaraswatiGoddess Parvati, and Goddess Sita, considers that girls and women are weak and helpless. Goddess Durga is a symbol of power and feminine energy. Goddess Kali, is a symbol of motherly love, the destroyer of evil forces and a divine protector. Goddess Lakshmi is a symbol of beauty and wealth. Goddess Saraswati is a symbol of knowledge, wisdom, and music. Goddess Parvati, is a symbol of love, devotion as well as divine strength, and Goddess Sita, is a symbol of tolerance, self-sacrifice, courage, and purity. Few strong and powerful women of India are – Indira Gandhi, the iron lady of India, she was the first and, to date, the only female Prime Minister of India. Kunjarani Devi, she is the most celebrated Indian woman in weightliftingRani Lakshmibai, she was the prominent personality in India’s first war of Independence (1857). No one knew if she was Lakshmi or Goddess Durga. She was an epitome of braverypowerpatriotismcourage, and honor. Her sword skills even awed the great Marathas. She was the young warrior queen who became an icon against the British Raj. Sita Sahu, she won 2 bronze medals at the 2011 Special Olympics in Athens at the young age of 15.
A girl or woman is not a symbol of weakness and helplessness. Rather, she is a symbol of strengthpowerselflessnesscare, and tolerance. She has the power to endure pain and the courage to fight for her rights. She has the power to create and nurture life. She is fierce and strong; indeed an epitome of love, patience, and sacrifice. She is a girl. She is a woman. She is a mother, a daughter, a wife, and a sister. She creates the world and every man is borne and raised by a woman. A woman only makes the house a home. She is fire and passion. She gives us life, nurtures us, and fights for us; so she deserves nothing less from us. She doesn’t show her confidence, but her quiet confidence screams loud. She is brave enough to fight her battle alone. She stays silent and quiet until it’s time to fight, and when that time comes, she rises and fights like a strong and courageous woman. It is in her fierce form that we witness the power and strength of all the Goddesses within her. She is the foundation of every home and creator of every man on this earth. A woman only gave birth to Lord RamaKrishna, and Lord Ganesha. “God is a Woman,” the single on Ariana Grande’s album, released in 2018, is a reminder that Archaeologists believe God was considered female for the first 200,000 years of human life on earth.
Today, every woman is a symbol of power. Every mother is an achiever and a symbol of power because her power is the mental strength that she possesses. She sacrifices her own needs and comforts for the sake of her family. She is no less than Maa Durga, who takes all the responsibilities and works tirelessly to manage the entire household single-handedly. All girls who follow their dream and work hard to achieve it are symbols of power. The woman cooking in the house and taking care of her family is a symbol of power. Every girl who fights for the betterment of herself as well as others is a symbol of power. Girls and women are the most beautiful and wonderful creation of God on this Earth because every child’s first food is their breast’s milk. So, we must respect them and not belittle them for being unproductive and feeble. Just imagine the world without a girl or a woman; there will be no new life on this earth and the whole world would reach its end, due to lack of regeneration, because she is the cause of life.
She is ready to shatter the ridiculous cage that people attempt to build around her. She knows how to convert her pains into smiles because her smile is her strongest weapon. She looks into a fire and smiles and tells to herself – “I am mine before I am ever anyone else’s.” She has come to conquer the mountains and prove the world that brave is the new beautiful, and She is way more than what meets the eye. She says:
“You can’t see my beauty on my face,
But, you can see it in my power and my strength.
God blessed me with the power of creating a new life,
And, you believe, “I am weak and helpless.”
If by believing so, you get pleasure and peace,
Then one day, I am sure, you will be able to see – The power of SHE.”
