About the Book
This is a collection of poems by a young emerging poet. Poems are mostly confessional and reflect the existential dilemmas faced by the new generation. It is an attempt to cope with the bad times and bitter experiences one has to face in the commercialised and insensitive world around. The innate expressions and contradictions in life are brought to the centerstage.Imagery used lavishly are highly appreciated by many. Read this book to uncover many easter eggs and puzzles in his writing . The greater one delves into the poems, the more divergent are his outlooks.
About the Author
Gautham Pradeep, currently 19 years of age, was born in Kerala, India, in a town called Thalassery. He did his schooling in Bangalore, India until he was admitted to Srinivasa Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center for pursuing his MBBS course. Though not well versed with reading books, he started writing poems from mid-2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. He tries to explore the existential dilemmas of the present generation but still aims to keep his verses simple and easy to comprehend. Apart from writing poems, he indulges in Betta breeding, Butterfly collection and is a wanderlust. Right from school days, he is good at debating, public speaking and takes keen interest in creative writing. Other activities include badminton, playing keyboard, painting etc. He has published his poems in well known periodicals like IndianPeriodicals, POETS UNLIMITED and is going to be published in the February issue of the Indian Poetry Review.
