About the book
“Ehsaas Ke Pal”, is a small effort through which self-realization,
self-contemplation and inner voice are recognized. It is an initiative in the direction of understanding and improving life according to life experiences, spiritual thought, discovery and advice of intellectuals, sociologists and psychologists. The contribution of my daughter Shilpa in this collection of poems is
highly commendable, without whose tireless efforts this collection would not have taken its present form. It would also be fair to say that it is natural to get a glimpse of the author's experiences and thoughts in the poems. Concerns have also been expressed about today’s mechanical speedy lifestyle. This collection of poems is a tribute from a father to a son, who recently passed away tragically.
About the author
Subhash Sharma, currently settled in Faridabad, Haryana, grew up at Gurdaspur is a border town at the India-Pakistan border near today’s Kartarpur corridor. “Ehsaas ke Pal” – is a culmination of his life and experiences through his unending passion for reading and continuous acquisition of knowledge through various channels while observing life around him. An inveterate reader, he is also a nature lover. Subhash Sharma has a diverse educational background which includes M.A. English, Political Science from Punjab University, Chandigarh, a Post Graduate qualification in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, Masters in Human Development & Education from University of Nebraska Lincoln U.S.A. He has been a corporate trainer for over twenty-five years and an HR head for over a decade.
