Jitender Kumar is an aspiring author of whose, Love-Tennis
is a first fiction effort. Love tennis is a romantic drama and written very
smoothly yet precisely, for a first timer. Jitender seems to be a good story
teller who does not let his readers wander outside his book. The language is
kept simple and characters alive throughout the story.
He does not deviate from the main line of story and also
points out some social issues in-between like a simple opinion that makes you
think about it before you move on to the next paragraph. He does not generate
false hopes in the story neither he demoralizes the reader. He keeps the
characters more like how we are and how we have lived a phase of our lives.
He gives base and background to his characters right from
the beginning of the story. Simplicity of each character is what keeps you
connected as they become more relatable and realistic. Although this book falls
under fiction category but upon reading it you realize that there was always a
bit of Jatin and Priya in you. I hope author comes up with more of his work
soon and we get to see his diversity.
