"Endless Thoughts Thoughtless Minds" By Achyut Kumar Das

The author is a multifaceted personality – an engineer, a scientific research analyst, an agronomist, an inventor, an ayurvedic and spiritual healer, a wellness consultant, a seeker of spiritualism, and a student of Life. His work on Neem and his concept of Neem as "The Village Pharmacy" opened the doors that led to making numerous products such as Health care, Hygiene care, Dental care, Skin and Haircare, Agriculture, Pest control, Pets, and Veterinary care, and also epidemic management, at his lab 'Herbal Health Research Labs' , which he exported globally through his registered company AVM Enterprises. A Neem company, "The Neem Genie", was set up in the UK in partnership with Late Mr. David Nabbs, in the year 2003, that popularized Neem globally as the wonder tree. The author also patented the technology on Neem-coated Urea under the guidance of Late Shri I.K.Suri (ex-Dir.TechNational Fertilizers Ltd.), which is being presently used by all Urea manufacturing companies in India. His innovative and holistic approach to healing has led to a number of new techniques such as the "Theatre Healing", which he also calls as the "Psychic-Switch" technique. His special concern for the lonely and elders and their well being has led to the creation of yet another innovative project called the "Swarga-Peetham" (literally means a heaven on earth) – an abode for the victims of the old-age, geriatric assessment, palliative care and rehab for those who are deprived of Sewa (services) and face loneliness leading to depression and mental trauma.
Examining the self in our quest to dispel the darkness of ignorance amidst the hustle and bustle of our daily life is a tough ask, particularly because our material life itself is so overwhelming. Yet, getting involved in our material life by itself drowns the very purpose why we are born. At death, a vivid realization looms large – that most of us played the fool in life. As it turns out – most of what we see may not be the whole truth, and what we don’t see could be the truth. Maya – the illusion and the dual nature of our gross physical life distracts us from the truth all the time, as we remain focused on momentary comforts, pleasures of life and leading a life dominated by our pompous ego. The book “Endless Thoughts, Thoughtless Minds” explores the ancient Indian wisdom on various aspects of the truths of life; the sciences thereof and an analytical study of those sciences by the author, which also correlates a number of real-life personal experiences and views of the author with respect to that wisdom. Eventually, the author as a seeker describes his rendezvous with his own destiny and with the conclusion that each one of us scripts our own destiny out of the Karma of this life into the destiny in the next life.
