“ THE JURASSIC ADVENTURE “ – by Mr. Arham Banthia

Many of you would be familiar with the term Jurassic period. It was about 600 million years ago. It was the time when dinosaurs lived on our planet. Dinosaurs, those dangerous, carnivorous, ferocious animals, which ate everything and anything that came their way. Indeed, there were herbivorous dinosaurs too, but the Kings were Tyrannosaurus or T. Rex, meaning ‘terrible lizard’, known for their sharp and deadly teeth. Just imagine, what would happen if these dinosaurs happen to come to our world today. The novelette ’THE JURASSIC ADVENTURE’ is about a 10-year-old boy getting stuck in a strange world and very interestingly he protects himself and his friend using his knowledge of the Jurassic age. His sharp observation helps DSS catch the culprit also. The novelette is a perfect edutainment which inspires and educate the reader. Quietly sitting in the class, this prodigy, Arham Banthia created the wonderful work of fiction after some beautiful poems in English and Hindi, as well. He recited many short poems, like Trees, Mother, Summer-season, Rats are nice, Campfire, गोल्डन जुबली, and latest जीवन चक्र. This loquacious boy is a voracious reader, a Potterhead (fan of Harry Potter series) and is fond of Indian History and pre-history. With the ripening of age, his works are becoming more and more mature, earning applaud from school, friends, and relatives. Getting this first book published at an age of 11 where the book was written when he was 10 and even younger is in itself a big achievement.
