भारतीय संस्कृति एवं सभ्यता लाखों पुरानी है, जो एक अनोखे आदर्शवाद को बताती है। पर आज हम लोकतंत्र की सीढ़ी पर हैं जहाँ यही संस्कृति और सभ्यता धूमिल होने लगी है।
पुराने समय में लोग का जीवन, सादा जीवन, उच्च विचार उक्ति पर आधारित था| उस दौर में यदि किसी के साथ कुछ बुरा घटित हो जाता तो पूरा समाज, पूरा कुनबा साथ खड़ा होता था। पर आज के वर्तमान समय में रक्त-सम्बन्ध रिश्ते भी मजूबत न रहे। वर्तमान समय को अर्थ युग कहें तो कोई अतिश्योक्ति नहीं होगी। चाहे आज हमारी आर्थिक स्थिति मजबूत हुई हो, पर ये कहना भी गलत नहीं होगा कि आज हम रिश्तों से दूर भाग रहे हैं।
सालों पहले हमारे समाज में कई कुरीतियाँ थी। वो व्यक्ति को जीने तो देती थी, पर अपने हाल पर नहीं, कई कुरीतियाँ तो ऐसी थी, जिनमें व्यक्ति समाज की अनुमति के बिना कुछ नहीं कर सकता था। कुछ बंधन भी थे, जिन्हें तोड़ पाना संभव नहीं था। पर उस समय में इन्हीं बन्धनों ने संस्कार और संस्कृति बचाए रखी थी जिनसे सभी रिश्तें आपस में बंधे रहते थे। अगर हम इन्हीं शब्दों में वर्तमान समय की बात करें तो सामाजिक आधारों में पहले लोग संयुक्त परिवारों में रह कर भी सामंजस्य स्थापित कर लिया करते थे पर अब एकल परिवारों में रह कर भी प्रसन्न नहीं है| आज का जीवन तो बस भाग-दौड़ का एक क्रम है जो रोज़ सुबह सूर्योदय के साथ प्रारम्भ होता है और सूर्यास्त के साथ ही समाप्त होता है| एक अंतहीन दौड़....जैसे कोई प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गयी हो ये देखने के लिए कि कौन कितना भाग सकता है|
Indian culture and civilization are millions of old, which tells a unique idealism. But today we are on the ladder of democracy, where this culture and civilization have started getting tarnished.
In the olden times, people's lives, simple lives, high thoughts were based on speculation. In that period if something bad happened to anyone, then the entire society would have stood together. But in today's present time, the relationship of blood relations is not too strong. There will be no exaggeration if the current time is called the Money Age. Regardless of our economic situation today, it will not be wrong to say that we are running away from relationships today.
Years ago our society had many virtues. He would have given life to a person, but not on his own, but many such people were such, in which a person could not do anything without the permission of the society. There were also some restrictions, which were not possible to break. But at that time these bonds had preserved the rituals and culture, to which all relations were tied together. If we talk about the present time in these words, earlier people used to reconcile by living in the joint families, but now living in single families is also not happy. Today's life is just a sequence of races which starts with the sunrise every morning and ends with the sunset. A competition like an endless race .... has been organized to see who can run away.
